Join us in exploring the legendary pistes around the Hochkönig either as an individual, in a group of people you have put together yourself, with family, or simply with a few friends.
Our ski guides will show you the nicest slopes and a few insider secrets that you wouldn't find otherwise.
Participants: for all who can ski well and safely on red pistes. Please note that the ability of all in the group should be similar as your private instructor must always have the weakest member of the group in mind.
Course times, length, and meeting point: as arranged or the ski school office & meeting place at the Zachhof Babylift.

By starting our ski guiding at 09:00 we can enjoy the delights of early morning skiing around the Hochkönig. We recommend at least 2 hours for full piste pleasure

SKI TOURS
The Hochkönig region has tours for everyone.
Experience amazing ski tours in the Hochkönig region. The owner of the ski school personally or one of our trained ski guides will take you on an unforgettable tour to the Klingspitz, the Taghaubenscharte, the Lauskopf peaks, the Hundstein and Schwalbenwand or on the absolute king's tour up the Hochkönig.
Risk management is an essential part of leading ski tours.
Our guides will ensure your safety.
Ski touring equipment, avalanche rucksack, and safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) can be rented from Portis Sportshop with 10% discount.

For those new to ski touring we recommend a guided tour on our ski touring educational trail with comprehensive training. Amongst other things, this gives you a chance to learn how to use the safety equipment in a simulated avalanche exercise

Guiding & ski touring general information
All our ski & snowboard instructors areOf course qualified and trained in first aid.
We recommend that helmets are worn in all lessons for safety reasons. Children under the age of 15 must wear a helmet.
Lift Passes are not included in the price of lessons, but with good progress they are often necessary after the first day. Children up to the age of 6 can use the Shneewutzel lift entrances free of charge.
Courses are offered in German and English. Other languages depend on instructor availability.
